"O people ! Muhammad has no sons among ye men, but verily, He is the Apostle of God and the Last in the line of Prophets. And God is Aware of everything." (Surah Al Ahzab 33.40) "....This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion....(The Noble Quran, 5:3)" "In My Ummah, there shall be born Thirty Grand Liars (Dajjals), each of whom will claim to be a prophet, But I am the Last Prophet; there is No Prophet after Me." Mainstream Islam of all sects, unanimously reject the claim of the Ahmadiyya Community that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a Messiah.
In 1974, Muslim World League, which represents 60 Muslim countries, passed a fatwa on Ahmadiyya, declaring them 'kafir' (Non-believer).[1] This was then followed by various fatwas across well-respected Sunni and Shia scholars also declaring them as 'kafir' (Non-believer).[2]
Also in 1974, Pakistan's parliament amended the country's constitution to legally define Ahmadis as non-Muslims: "A person who does not believe in the absolute and unqualified finality of the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him)... or claims to be a Prophet... or recognizes such a claimant as a Prophet or religious reformer, is not a Muslim..."[3][4]
